EPA TO-15 Canister Analysis
T0-15 Canister Analysis is the easiest and most effective way to sample for volatile organic compounds (VOCs). It can be used for Indoor Air Quality, Ambient Air Monitoring, Air Emissions Evaluations, Soil Vapor Intrusion Analyses, and fugitive gases. Canisters can be used to test in almost any situation, including the home and workplace.
The TO-15 analysis tests ambient air by means of a stainless steel container (SUMMA? or its equivalent). An investigator takes the canister to the field, opens the valve, and collects samples without needing any other sampling equipment. Princeton Analytical provides the highest quality silicon-lined canisters because we believe that these passivated canisters give the best results.
Our TO-15 analytical system consists of a state-of-the-art gas chromatograph/mass spectrometer (GC/MS) with a cryogenic autosampler. The beauty of GC/MS work that you can actually identify unknown compounds for situations in which you do not know what compounds are present. This innovative system allows you to see these compounds at very low levels (ppt or lower).
